Back to Laser Zen TRANSPARENT DATA PRACTICES

Privacy Policy.

How Laser Zen stores game progress, uses advertising services, and helps you manage your information.

Effective date: October 13, 2026 · Applies to Laser Zen for Android (com.laserzen.game.play)

At a glance: Laser Zen does not require an account to play. Game progress and preferences are primarily stored locally. Google AdMob and its partners may collect or process advertising and device information when you use the app.

1. About this policy

Laser Zen (the “App”) is a laser-and-mirror logic puzzle game published by Inque Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy describes information used by the Android version of the App, the integrated third-party services, and your privacy choices.

The game can be played without creating an Inque Labs account, and we do not require you to submit your name, postal address, email address or phone number for ordinary gameplay. If you contact support directly, you may share the information needed to respond to your inquiry.

2. Game data stored locally

Laser Zen uses react-native-mmkv for app-private storage on your device. Depending on which features you use, locally saved information can include:

  • Current stage, solved levels, stars, puzzle progress and gameplay state.
  • Coins, energy, rewarded-item balances and related gameplay counters.
  • Equipped or unlocked cosmetic items, including laser and visual themes.
  • Wheel-spin timing and eligibility, when that feature is used.
  • Preferences for sound, music, haptics and personalized-ad requests.
  • Local advertising frequency and streak counters used to manage ad placement.

These data support gameplay continuity, game rewards, customization and player preferences. They are not uploaded to an Inque Labs gameplay-account service by the Android code reviewed for this policy.

The currently configured MMKV instance does not explicitly provide an encryption key. We therefore do not represent that in-app game records are encrypted by Laser Zen. The Android app configuration disables application backup.

3. Google AdMob and information processed by third parties

Laser Zen integrates Google AdMob / the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner advertisements, interstitial ads at certain progression points, and optional rewarded advertisements in supported game flows.

Google and its advertising partners may collect, use or share information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address (which may indicate approximate location), device characteristics, operating-system information, permitted advertising identifiers, interactions with ads, ad impressions, performance measurements, and diagnostics. They may process this information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, security, measurement and personalization where allowed.

Advertising data may be sent to Google or its partners, including servers outside your country, and managed according to those providers' independent policies. We do not sell locally stored game progress or keep a separate Inque Labs advertising-profile database for this game.

Provider information: Google Privacy Policy , How Google uses information from partner apps , and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure .

Although the original project privacy document discusses in-app purchases, the inspected Android project does not include an active Google Play Billing SDK or payment flow. No direct payment-card information is requested by the app's inspected code. If purchases are added in a later version, we will update this policy before release.

5. Android permissions

The Android manifest in the reviewed source requests the following permissions:

PermissionPurpose
INTERNETAdvertising, consent services and loading the Privacy Policy in a WebView.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEChecking device network availability for online SDK features.
VIBRATEOptional in-game haptic feedback.
AD_IDAdvertising identifier access where available and permitted by device and privacy settings.

The reviewed main manifest does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise GPS location access. Third-party libraries can add permissions in the final merged Android manifest, so the release build should be checked separately.

6. Children's privacy

Laser Zen does not require children to provide a name, email address or account to play. However, the game includes advertising SDKs that may process device and advertising information as described above. The game is not intended to collect personal details directly from children.

Our advertising setup and Google Play target-audience declarations must reflect the actual intended audience. If the app is directed to children or includes children in its target audience, Google's Families requirements and applicable laws may require additional safeguards. Parents and guardians may contact us with concerns using the email below.

7. Retention and deletion

Locally saved game records generally remain until you delete them. The game has a settings-based progress reset action, which may reset gameplay records. To remove all local app data, use Android Settings → Apps → Laser Zen → Storage → Clear storage or uninstall the app. Clearing data can permanently erase coins, progress and preferences. The Android application manifest has allowBackup="false".

Third-party advertising services set their own retention periods and deletion procedures. Removing the game or clearing local data does not necessarily delete data already received by Google or its partners. Review their privacy controls for third-party information.

8. Security

Game state is stored in the app's Android-private storage, subject to your device's protections. We take reasonable measures for systems under our control and host this privacy page over HTTPS. We do not claim that local MMKV values are encrypted by the app without a configured encryption key. Google and other providers are responsible for their respective systems and data-security practices.

No technology can guarantee complete security in every circumstance. Keep your Android device updated and use its available security controls.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict certain personal-data processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis. For local progress, use the reset or deletion steps above. For Google-managed advertising information, Google's privacy settings and request mechanisms may apply.

For information controlled by Inque Labs or questions about the game, email us. We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law. We may need sufficient information to understand and verify a request, without collecting unnecessary details.

10. Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy when the game, integrated software, advertising practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top indicates when this version was prepared. Material changes will be reflected here.
